Oy u Luzi... "Ой у лузі червона калина" (Oh red viburnum in the meadow) is an iconic Ukrainian song. It was written by Stepan Charnetsky in 1914 when the Ukrainian Insurgent Army was fighting against communists. After 100 years, the history repeats itself – Ukrainian people are facing a full-scaled Russian invasion, and they are fighting back so bravely and fiercely that the whole world is moved and impressed!
I'm presenting you my cover version. 28 singers around the world have joined me in choruses. To highlight Ukrainian spirit I engaged authentic folk instruments - sopilka and bandura.
